Friday Fun, Fun, Fun!

Today we went to Orchestra and it was BEAU-TI-FUL!!! So I hung out out-side most of the day, then we sung a REALLY Pretty song in Choir "Keria" or something like that. I FINALLY Remembered To bring cookies to one of my friends, she has been asking me for WEEKS. So that was pretty much Today Fun, but not interesting to read about :).

Jessica~Prayer Request

Hey girls!
I would like to ask that you keep me in your prayers. I usually don't ask this kind of stuff so.....
Anyways. Ever since I took the fall off Mandy on Wednesday, I have had major pains in my lower neck and shoulder.

I'm not sure where I landed, but my mom is thinking it was on my head. Hopefully there is no major damage done, but it's still a little scary thinking of it.

A little bit scary, A little bit tiring, A lot'a bit cool!

So as you all know we have bought a house by the lake! We have been working on it all of this month. We are getting to the end of it, but it was TIRING! We had to take wall paper off of almost all the walls, and most of the walls had two even three layers of wall paper! We almost have it all painted. We have picked out most of the furniture except a few little things and a bunk bed. The cool part is that when we get it looking all nice we get it rent it out! So I might get to be paid to clean it after each person leaves. It will just be like a vacation home for families or couples. The H's have been helping us along with Olivia's Family. So a couple of times I have got to baby-sit the H's while there parents go work at the lake house! Well I hope you all can make sense of this scatterbrained little thing, but oh well!

Grace- Ever Feel Like A Monster?

I do right now! Hormones, the fact that my math is SO hard feeling and takes me like FOREVER, my shoulder is sore so it is hard to play violin, my room is messy, I and my mom are in a disagreement about duvet comforters, and I am STILL HUNGRY!

A lot of capital letters and exclamation points huh? I am trying to cut down on those so that I don't look like an over emotional 7th grader. I actually am an 8th grader and still emotional, but I am attempting to downsize on drama. Ask my family if it is working though, and you might get a different answer.

I am really grumpy, tired, and about ready to bite someone's head off. I have already been rude and disrespectful to my mother more than once. So here is the question, how do I change?

Well, right now I am praying, for myself and others. I have read that it helps in times of extreme grouchiness to get your focus onto others. And I think that it might help.

God doesn't want to me go around grumbling and making my and other people's lives difficult. Or causing other people to have a bad day just because I am having one. And I am afraid that I haven't even got the excuse of 14 1/2 hormones, because in my spirit I am strong enough to be loving and cheerful despite them.

So let me say this, right now I "feel like a monster" and I want "act like a monster". But I am going to choose to be loving and gracious and respectful, whether I feel like it or not. Maybe if I put it in writing and post it up on the internet I will feel more compelled to do it. ;)

A merry heart is good medicine. Cheerio!

Grace- Seasonal Wars

I am a HUGE winter fan! The autumn is my favorite season, but that is because it is the preseason to winter. I also love snow, and I pray for a lot of it every year.

But some people are not winter fans. And for all of you winter-wisher-awayers just try and imagine the world without any winter. Because listening to you that is what a person would think that you want.

A friend and I were having a friendly Google buzz argument on this subject. My daddy said it was classic so I decided to post it. And here it is.

Dear Snow,
I told you so. You came anyways, and I went out and stomped on you, beat you up, threw you through the air, pulled you off the car, and threw salt on you.

I believe I have made my point clear.

Jessica~Changes

Today, I was reading through the new posts and thinking to myself: "Goodness, isn't it time we changed the picture or something like that? Who's doing it anyhow?!?" Then, like a slap in the face I remembered....ME!!! So, I went to work ( I like change!!) and added some things, changed and enhanced more and so on....
I added some pictures (effect and display of our totally awesome God!) Although if you think it's too much, I can take them off. I'm just experimenting! I also made the little blue tab at the very top a lighter silver so that it isn't so.....annoying. :) Please PLEASE tell me what you think. Maybe do without this or add that. I am TOTALLY experimenting and could use advice!!

Hi Friends!

Well, It is January and all the holiday seasons are over for the time being. It is a little sad because of all the fun Christmas music and holiday cookies and sweets are over, but also nice to get back into the swing of school and other things. My Spiritual Birthday was January 7th and my oldest brothers as well. I am so glad you are all my sisters in Christ. We started our Orchestra back. We got a pretty good snow-Hooray! Hope everyone is doing well, thought I needed to post something since Jessica and Grace have been mainly posting everything.

Read this article about these Christians who have been arrested in Iran. The situation is getting pretty desperate over there, but prayer is a powerful weapon that has caused kings to rise and fall and miracles to be performed.

Grace- New Year Resolutions?

Yeah, it's that time again. The time when you set out with great hopes and nearly impossible goals that you hope to accomplish during the course of the next year. Gulp. I am already getting nervous.

I haven't set in stone any new resolutions, other than to keep working at relationships, read more spiritual and educational books, learn some Spanish over the summer, sew some Austen dresses, write two new plays, continue other riding, take riding lessons, and read! See? Not too many resolutions! ;) Right.
