Read this article about these Christians who have been arrested in Iran. The situation is getting pretty desperate over there, but prayer is a powerful weapon that has caused kings to rise and fall and miracles to be performed.
And just to help encourage you, I have prayed before for two ladies from Iran who were also arrested, and a few months later, they were released! It was so wonderful, and I hope that this encourages you and lets you know, PRAYER WORKS!
